What began as a small, two-person office in 1991 at JFK airport in New York has become the largest logistics provider in the United States devoted entirely to the special needs and requirements of shipping artwork. With eleven locations throughout the United States, Dietl International now has more than 95 employees dedicated to the safe transportation and handling of valuable works of art.
An International Freight forwarder with in-house customs brokerage, Dietl International maintains the highest level of service in the industry. Our number one concern is providing an honest and thorough assessment of your needs from the beginning of our relationship, and maintaining that throughout the entirety of the shipment. This will take into account the safety of your artwork as well as managing a budget to meet the specific needs of each client.
Fritz Dietl opened Dietl International over twenty-seven years ago intent on providing comprehensive door-to-door coverage for his clients. He is a founder and board member of a leading art handling, crating, and storage provider in New York state that manages over 150,000 sqft of art space. Additionally, he owns and operates the Delaware Freeport which provides 100,000 sqft of cost-effective, high-security, museum-quality art storage for the region.
